Cathedral of Girona
The Cathedral of Girona is an absolute MUST on a visit to Girona. The Romanesque cloisters have superb biblical scenes on the capitals and the museum displays a unique 11th century tapestry of the Creation.

Arab Baths
The Arab Baths are an example of Romanesque civic architecture dating from the 12th century. The frigidarium is lit by a central sky-light vault and has an octagonal central pool.

The Museum of the History of the Jews offers an excellent insight to medieval Jewish history and rituals.

Figueres

Dalí Museum
A visit to the Dalí Museum in Figueres is a memorable experience for adults and children. The many rooms display works from the different periods of Dalí's development.

Toy Museum of Catalonia
The Toy Museum of Catalonia, located in Figueres, has more than 4,000 pieces on exhibition. This is a favorite not only among children but also adults.

Golf Clubs

Mas Pagès
Mas Pagès, located just 5 minutes from Mas Talaia, offers a very pleasant golfing environment. The 18 hole course (par 3) has a lovely changing landscape throughout the course. One can play the 18 holes or just hit a few baskets of golf balls into the driving range before going home for dinner.

Golf Peralada
Golf Peralada is another superb course which is designed to suit golfers of all abilities. The landscape is breathtaking and one can observe many different varieties of birds and vegetation. One can combine a round of golf with a delicious lunch or dinner in the Masia Restaurant.

TorreMirona Golf Resort & Spa
TorreMirona is another gem located in the Empordà area, about 25 minutes from Mas Talaia. The grounds with beautiful lakes and wide greens are immaculately kept. The views are magnificent.

Empordà Golf Club
Ranked one of the top ten golf courses in Spain, the Empordà Golf Club has two 18-hole courses: the Links style (reminiscent of the Scottish greens) and the Forest (with its classic Mediterranean landscape). The 40 minute drive from Mas Talaia is well worth it.

Jean Leon (Penedès)
The story behind Jean Leon is one of a self-made man. Beginning as a stow-away just to get to New York, Jean Leon became a partner with James Dean of the world renowned restaurant "La Scala" of Beverly Hills and then went on to create the vineyards that would carry him name.

Freixenet (Penedès)
A visit to enormous facilities of Freixenet's cava production is a spectacular experience. The hour and a half visit makes a perfect complement to the visit of Jean Leon's winery.
